Great Tuna Tartare Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb. Fresh Sushi GradeTuna

Sauce: (measurements are per 1lb of tuna)

2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard

1 Tablespoon pureed canned chipotle chilies (smoked or fire roasted green chilies)

3 Tablespoons olive oil

Fresh Cracked Pepper


Accompaniments:  (measurements are per 1lb of tuna)

2 Tablespoon capers (drained)

2 hardboiled eggs (whites only) finely chopped

2 Tablespoons Finely diced green onion (only use green part)


Directions:

  • Dice Tuna into ΒΌ cubes

  • Combine the sauce ingredients and whisk thoroughly

  • Add tuna and garnishes to sauce, toss mixture.

  • Chill and serve


Can be served on its own or with crostini.  You can add some diced red onion if you want it to have a little more bite.  Enjoy!
