If you are a part of the popular craft beer loving crowd, mark your calendars!  The Beach Haven Volunteer Fire Company is hosting its 1st Annual Beer and Food Festival.  It will take place from 2-6pm on April 8 at Veterans' Memorial Park in Beach Haven.  Admission is $20 at the gate, which includes a beer mug and 4 tickets.  There will be some local craft beer favorites represented including Pinelands and Ship Bottom Breweries and more.  Food trucks and craft vendors will be part of the experience as well.  But if you can't wait and want to visit Long Beach Island sooner, the Fire Company is also hosting a ComedyNight this Saturday, April 1 at the firehouse from 7-9pm.  The event features funny man Kevin Israel and "Hilarious Housewife" LaTice and will be hosted by Natty Bumpercar.  Also included is a happy hour food buffet before the show and a cash wine and beer bar opening at 6pm.  Tickets cost $40 and can be reserved by emailing bhvfca@gmail.com.  You must be 21 years of age or older to attend.  So come have some beer, food, fun and laughs on LBI to help us kick off spring!
