It has been a really difficult time for those that suffered in the path and aftermath of Hurricane Dorian. It is time to say good - bye now and hello to a new day. With the determination of the Bahamian people to get the strength and courage, they will rebuild their country. It will take years, maybe a new generation to lead in the creation of a new life.

The community and surrounding towns of LBI know all to well about the feeling of bearing witness to destruction.

A couple of the videos you might have saw in the news were taken by Lena Garcia Chandler. Her church has organized this relief fund.

And when the residents of on the eastern shores of our country try to rebuild their lives, consider helping people who need so much. Every little bit helps and will make a difference in the lives of our fellow men and women.
