REALTOR® with an Appetite IV
Well I’m back. Sorry for the big gap between articles, but we had some family issues to work through. My father-in-law passed away so I was in North Jersey for a bit and then we had to attend a wedding of a good friend’s daughter in North Carolina. So needless to say I didn’t have much time to write about restaurants. Now that doesn’t mean we didn’t eat in some nice places. For instance Nicola’s in Totowa up in North Jersey. We had an excellent dinner the day of the wake in between the afternoon and evening viewings. I would recommend this wonderful little Italian restaurant to anyone. The food was spectacular and since we were a larger party they immediately gave us two or three waiters. The service was excellent! Then of course we had the repast at the Brownstone, which totally speaks for itself. Anyone that watches the NJ Housewives would know that. Now on the second half of the week I can’t really say to much about the eateries either on the way down there or once we got to N. Carolina. The best I can say is that Cracker Barrel has great pecan pancakes and I think I’ll leave it at that.
Once we got back home to LBI and back to normal. We tried dinner at a place that I have frequented for breakfast and lunch but never tried dinner. It's the Greenhouse Cafe. I kept meaning to go there since lots of friends seem to love it for many different reasons, from atmosphere to healthier food. As it turns out our dinners were great! I’m not sure how healthy they were but they tasted wonderful. Beside I never liked healthy stuff anyway. I had a nice pasta dish with sun dried tomatoes and sausage and garlic and oil. Bring a bottle of your favorite vino and you’ll be all set. Highly recommended for dinner or for that matter breakfast and lunch at the Greenhouse Cafe. Remember if you eat there you might actually get healthy!
